We were told about Loaf Catering and Cafes and were eager to work with them as we loved their values of finding pathways for people with neurodiversities and disabilities into education and employment.

We had just moved into our new office and wanted to spend our money intentionally on things we knew had meaning behind them and that would HAVE positive impact.

In came the loaf pottery! Karen the pottery development manager, Hannah the master potter and Steven and Sean participant potters (and master potters in their own right) were tasked them with making cups for our offices in our brand colours.

We got to spend a day at the pottery with Karen and Hannah which didn’t disappoint and learnt all about Loaf pottery, the community who use it and the kitchen and the gardens, we were in awe and wanted to instantly move to crawsfordsburn!

It matters where and why we spend our money, and that we have respect for money, we know that every cup of tea now tells the story of loaf and its power to change lives, create employment for those who would find it hard to get a stable job. And our story isnt finished, I know the relationship is a meaningful one and there is still more to do.

Anyway it’s just a cup for your coffee, but now an award winning cup, that packs a whole lot of meaning into it! ❤️🏆
