QUID – November

Broadlake ‘s QUID M&A Networking Events wrapped up for 2025 on Thursday night with our fourth and final event of the year which was kindly hosted & sponsored by KPMG Ireland in their amazing Platform X innovation centre in Harbour Place in Dublin.
Thanks to Siobhan Donlevy David O’Kelly and the KPMG team for laying out an amazing space and beautiful food and drinks.
As someone who has been involved in QUID from the start, it is always impressive to see the calibre and variety of UK & Irish M&A professionals it attracts. Demand to invest in Irish companies and support Irish entrepreneurs is at an all time high which is fantastic to see.
Despite a few grumbles about deals taking longer to complete, and new streams of diligence being created to mitigate risk, the general consensus in the room is that 2025 has been a really good year for M&A deal activity.
Everyone was looking forward to completing the deals they have on their table before year end and preparing for a big 2026!
Broadlake established QUID, the Quarterly in Dublin in 2013 to create a community of like minded M&A professionals and to help stimulate deal activity in what was a very depressed market at the time. It is wonderful to see that 12 years later that the event is attracting more and more Irish and overseas investors who believe in the Irish growth story.
Over 100 key decision makers in the Irish Investment Community come together once a quarter for QUID. This community covers senior professionals in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Restructuring, Banking, Corporate Law and the Irish and UK Private Equity community.
Thanks to my colleagues at Broadlake for helping out on the night Manus Heenan Orla O’Donnell Tom Higgins
For anyone of my M&A network looking to attend QUID reach out to Mark Murray or me.
